# What is it about?

This method is intended to help people focus on their own sphere of influence and allow everyone involved to feel their effectiveness. The aim is to close gaps between knowledge and action.

# The goal

Focussing on measures that can be implemented immediately without external support or resources. The aim is to get into action by breaking out of powerlessness and frustration.

# How to do it?

  1. Formulate the question regarding the challenge: β€˜What can you already do without additional resources or external influences?’
  2. Each participant writes a list of their 15% solutions for themselves. They have five minutes to do this.
  3. Each participant then presents their ideas in smaller groups of two to four participants.
  4. The other group members advise by asking questions or giving advice. Allow 8-10 minutes per person for this.
  5. Carry this out until each participant has presented their ideas and been advised by the other group members.

# When do you need it?

15% solutions are particularly suitable when a project or the solution to a challenge has come to a standstill.

# Resources

  • paper & pen

# Advantages

Overcoming feelings of powerlessness and building trust through mutual support are the greatest advantages of this method.

# Disadvantages

It can happen that the fundamental problem is lost and the solutions therefore only temporarily solve the symptoms.

# Keep in mind

A story about a small change that led to great results is the best way to introduce this method. Above all, make sure that each idea can actually be implemented by the person in question. Reinventing the wheel is also allowed.
